Role Overview
As an Occupational Health Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality medical services to eligible staff members and their dependents. This includes routine health surveillance, pre-employment medical examinations, chronic condition management, and health promotion activities. The role requires a proactive approach to ensuring workplace safety, maintaining employee health standards, and providing immediate emergency care when required.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct pre-employment and periodic health evaluations for aviation and engineering personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Assess physical fitness, mental health, and overall well-being of employees while maintaining accurate records.

Collaborate with management, safety officers, and healthcare professionals to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Communicate effectively with employees regarding health programs, policies, and concerns.

Perform routine medical assessments for employees requiring airside driving licensing.

Carry out health surveillance for staff exposed to workplace hazards.

Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed while monitoring patient responses.

Maintain meticulous documentation of patient assessments and outcomes in line with organizational policies.

Provide emergency response care and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
To qualify for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Degree or diploma in Nursing with at least five years of experience, including two years in aviation medicine, occupational health, or emergency nursing.

Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is desirable.

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of first-response procedures and routine healthcare practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse team.

Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of health promotion and education for diverse patient populations.
