We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our production processes in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in seafood production and processing, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Customs clearance and Bill of Entry for Air, Sea, and Land

- General cargo clearance

- Airport clearance & allocation (DXB, DWC & Sharjah)

- Coordination with MOFAIC & MOIAT

- Municipality follow-up (DXB, Jebel Ali)

- Customs clearance at ports

- Submission of customs documents and reports

- Follow-ups via Dubai Trade, Calogi, and Emirates systems

- Duty claim recovery from Dubai Customs

Key Requirements

To be eligible for this role, candidates should possess:

1. Experience in Seafood Production: A minimum of three years of experience in seafood production or processing is required. This experience is essential to understand the industry-specific standards and challenges, ensuring that the candidate can maintain and improve production quality.

2. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in fisheries or a related field is preferred, providing candidates with a solid academic foundation in seafood and aquaculture. This background is beneficial in managing and understanding the unique aspects of seafood production.

3. Leadership and Supervisory Skills: The candidate must have proven leadership abilities, as they will be responsible for managing a team, coordinating tasks, and ensuring smooth production operations. Strong supervisory skills are essential to handle day-to-day challenges effectively and ensure team productivity.

4. Organizational, Communication, and Problem-Solving Skills: This role demands excellent organizational skills to oversee multiple aspects of production. Effective communication skills are also crucial for coordinating with different departments and team members. Problem-solving abilities are needed to address any issues that arise during production quickly and efficiently.

5. Technical Proficiency: The candidate should have good computer skills and a thorough understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards specific to the seafood industry. This knowledge is vital for maintaining the company’s high standards in food safety and regulatory compliance.
